Crafting
Crafting Rules
In Sawbone Shuffle, players can craft new cards by combining other cards in their collection. This system encourages strategic collection management and provides a clear upgrade path from Common to Legendary fighters and tech.
Basic Crafting System
- All cards in the game can be crafted by combining two specific lower-tier cards and paying a crafting fee.
- Recipes are not public — players must experiment or trade knowledge to discover crafting trees.
- Once a recipe is discovered, the preview UI will show the resulting card before confirmation.
- All discovered recipes will be viewable in the player's card library.
- It is more expensive to craft cards than to collect them in booster packs, however if you know the recipe, you can craft as many of them as you need.
Crafting Flow:
C-Rank Recipes
None - C-Rank cards can only be purchased
B-Rank Recipes
2 C-Rank (20 BC) + 10 BC Fee → 1 B-Rank (30 BC)
A-Rank Recipes
2 B-Rank (60 BC) + 30 BC Fee → 1 A-Rank (90 BC)
S-Rank Recipes
1 A-Rank Fighter (90 BC ) + 1 A-Rank Tech (90 BC) + 90 BC Fee → 1 S-Rank (270 BC)
Ω-Rank Recipes
1 S-Rank (270 BC) + 1 A-Rank (90 BC) + 180 BC Fee → 1 Ω-Rank (540 BC)
*** BC = Bone Chips
If a player combines two cards that do not have a known recipe, the system will still allow crafting. However:
- The preview will display a "?" instead of a specific card.
- Crafting this way produces a random card of the next rank.
- S-Rank and Ω-Rank cards cannot be randomly crafted.
This feature allows players to convert unwanted cards into potentially useful ones.
